About the Role

We are looking for two Product managers who will handle two seperate portfolios.

Supply chain portfolio:

You will manage products that serve our Supply Chain program which include procurement, stock management and demand forecasting. Your portfolio will also include products for One Acre Fund’s Market Access program, which is designed to provide farmers with improved access to markets for their agricultural products.

Client Facing Portfolio:

In this role, you will guide the development and optimization of our client-facing applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create impactful solutions that meet both business objectives and client needs. You have a strong blend of technical expertise and client-centric focus as you will manage our client-facing channels like Tupande App and USSD .

More about the role(s)

You will work with clients, and partners to identify and document user needs, define product vision, develop product roadmaps and work with developers to bring your vision to life. You will be the Product Owner in a scrum team and collaborate with Business Analysts, developers and UX designers. You will report directly to the Senior Product responsible for the Supply Chain and Corporate Solutions portfolio OR Channels portfolio, in the Global Tech Solutions team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify specific customer needs within the larger business context

  • Define success for your product portfolio and lead your development team to turn your product vision into a reality

  • Monitor product performance metrics, gather feedback, and implement optimizations to drive continuous improvement.

  • Balance short-term tactical activities with your long-term strategy and product roadmap

  • Subject Matter Expert for your portfolio, delivering impactful demos and creating clear requirements and user documentation

  • Agile Product Owner responsible for defining epics and roadmaps, prioritizing requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in product management, application design and configuration and the creation of functional documentation

  • Experience with cloud-based implementations of product that serve Finance, Procurement and Supply chain, HR, Logistics modules, Odoo ERP, SAP, Payments and workflow management solutions OR Client-facing tools like USSD, Mobile Apps

  • Experience implementing new solutions applications with an understanding of the functional changes between versions.

  • Experience with open interfaces and application programming interfaces (APIs).

  • Understanding of cloud shared services.
